Special Instructions

The hematology technologist assists in the collection of the bone marrow specimens, preparation of the slides and distribution of the specimens to the appropriate locations.

Approval Required

For afternoon (after 12 pm) booking, the Laboratory staff will consult with the Hematopathologist before scheduling the marrow procedure.
