○ UHN/SH Microbiology Laboratory will perform testing in house on isolates identified by infection control screens from all MSH screening specimens (new MRSA, new VRE, new Group A streptococcus, all Serratia marcescens from NICU, any organism identified by ICP)

○ UHN/SH Microbiology Laboratory will perform testing in house on isolates identified by infection control screens from UHN screening specimens (any organism identified by ICP)

○ UHN/SH Microbiology Laboratory will refer isolates from Baycrest screening specimens to the Public Health Ontario laboratory (new MRSA, any organism identified by ICP)
