○ Clinical indications for influenza susceptibility testing include: influenza infection developing during or post-antiviral treatment for influenza, severely ill patients not responding to therapy, fatalities in influenza positive individual after antiviral therapy administered, persistent viral shedding (PCR positive) for more than 7 days after therapy, recent travel history to an area where resistance is endemic in a confirmed influenza A case
