Other Information

Warthin Starry testing requires tissue sections cut at 4 microns mounted on plain slides. Brain tissue requires sections cut at 7 microns mounted on charged slides.

Specimen Requirements (Sample Type)

Formalin fixed paraffin embedded block or 4 micron paraffin sections on positively charged slides. Some exceptions apply (See 'Other information' section)
